The Helical Group gave a presentation at the Sustainable Sourcing of Agricultural Raw Materials 2009 Summit, which took place in London from 30th November to 2nd December 2009, organised by London Business Conferences. Given by Niall Marriott, The Helical Group's Development Director, the presentation examined the strengths and weaknesses of certification systems to drive continuous improvement in the sustainbaility performance of supply chains. It went on to explore the potential for road-mapping, the method that underpins Quest - The Helical Group's supply chain management service - to complement certification schemes, particularly in cases where a high percentage of suppliers are unable to achieve compliance for reasons of lack of capacity and/or challenging operating environments.
